It was a good thing we had a fun weekend planned after my trip to the DMV on Friday made me so mad!  Waiting for 2.5 hours to be told my documents were too old was not fun.  Luckily Mackenzie was at home with the grandparents so that she didn't have to hear me scream!  So I am trying it again tomorrow.
This weekend we headed down to Northern VA to visit family and celebrate Aunt Stacie, Grandma Seaborn and Uncle Scott birthdays. It was a quick but a wonderful visit down there.  Kyle and I took advantage of a babysitter and the W&OD bike trail down there.  We were finally able to ride bikes together.  We definitely rode enough to make up for lost time.  We didn't exactly get to where we wanted to go but it was still a great ride.   Maybe next time we can ride it with Stacie and Matt so we don't get lost!
Mackenzie enjoyed watching Jake explore his new toys.  Jake might be walking before we know it.   It is amazing how fast babies grow up.
The weekend ended with a trip to the Original Pancake House, a Seaborn family favorite from when we lived in Oregon.  This particular location didn't look like the original but it still tasted darn good!  Doggie bags were a must!
