Happy New Year

I can't believe it is already 2010. Where did 2009 go?
Christmas was very exciting for us this year. Santa was able to make Mackenzie's one big wish come true... 2 front teeth! Mackenzie has been working on some "super teeth" as grandpa Seaborn calls them for some time now. Poor little girl got her mom's teeth, no wonder she has been "teething" for 5 months. In the last 2 weeks she has gotten 3 new teeth and working on the 4th to make a total of 6 teeth.

Christmas is over and done with in a flash. The Christmas celebration started off in our house to start some traditions as a family. After our own Christmas we hit the road to celebrate Christmas with the Denholm family and New Years with the Seaborn's. It was a great time to see everyone.

Playing with new toys

Since returning back to DE Mackenzie and I have been busy. She started swim lessons which was a blast for both of us. She loves the water and is a little kicking machine (soccer skills?). I also joined the Y to get back into shape and have some "me" time. Today Mackenzie and I went for the 1st time and it was a big success for both of us.
Mackenzie had her 9 month check up. She impressed the Doc with her vocabulary! Her letter of choice is "d". Everything is ducky, doggie or daddy. She checked out very healthy making the 50 percentile in height, weight and head circumference! Way to go Mac! 9 months marks an exciting time in the food world, she can now join us at the dinner table. Minus a few foods Mackenzie is going to be sampling what we eat. She already loved today's lunch sweet potato and black bean soup!

Playing her baby grand and reaching for Blue(the dog).
The grandma's picked out some great toys for Christmas!

So proud to be standing and working on walking. Ahh!
